Hibiscus on Elm was born in a kitchen — from motherhood, Nigerian roots, and a deep commitment to wellness.
As a health-conscious Nigerian mom, founder Esther Griffin has always believed that what we drink matters just as much as what we eat. Growing up, hibiscus (zobo) wasn't just a drink — it was tradition, hospitality, and comfort woven into every glass.
But as life became faster and busier, she found herself craving something simple and grounding — something that tasted amazing, felt refreshing, and aligned with the way she wanted to care for her body and her family. That's when she began intentionally crafting her own version of zobo: a modern hibiscus wellness drink made with ethically sourced hibiscus and thoughtfully selected ingredients, blended to deliver flavor, balance, and nourishment in every sip.
What started as a homemade staple quickly became something her community asked for again and again — for birthdays, dinners, baby showers, and everyday hosting. Those early moments confirmed what she already knew: people want wellness that feels joyful, not restrictive.
At Hibiscus on Elm, the mission is to create refreshing, intentionally crafted hibiscus products that honor culture while supporting modern wellness. Every bottle is made to feel like a moment of care — for customers, their guests, and their bodies.
And this is only the beginning. Hibiscus on Elm is growing into a full line of hibiscus-based wellness creations — including signature teas and simple syrups — all made with the same commitment to clean ingredients, elevated flavor, and authentic Nigerian inspiration.
Hibiscus on Elm is where tradition meets intention — a better-for-you sip rooted in culture, crafted for everyday wellness.
Sip the culture. Taste the vibes.
